About the Role:

This role will manage operational tasks & reporting within recruitment systems and programs along with project work that will improve tool & process efficiency. You will manage complex requests from our business stakeholders, provide impactful reporting and escalate themes found through data to drive programmatic or operational improvements. You will support system updates & enhancements that require an in-depth understanding of our systems design, process & integration framework.

About the Team:

The Invite (a.k.a. Recruiting) Operations, Programs and Experience team is a highly collaborative, cross-functional team that drives key initiatives such as referral processing, systems & tool management, candidate experience, recruiter enablement and so much more. While we work with many different teams at Gusto, our Recruiting function is our primary customer! Our goal is to ensure recruiters, sourcers & coordinators can do their best work in the most effective and efficient way, which translates to a positive candidate journey and experience!

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Prepare reports from a variety of sources and present findings related to recruiting metrics, operations health metrics (hire error %, ticketing themes, etc.) to a wide variety of audiences, including leadership.
  • Create and maintain processes in recruiting systems, including documentation of standard operating procedures
  • Evaluate and analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns concerning recruitment and compliance with employment laws and regulations in partnership with Legal & Security teams.
  • Identify improvements & provide thoughtful solutions to streamline recruiting operations, improve the user experience.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
  • Support inbound support requests, routine auditing & system testing tied to new programs, system or process roll outs
  • Perform recurring process transactions and tasks that maintain our ability to attract and hire talent 
  • Provide support within larger scale projects that have been prioritized by our team & the business

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • 5 years of experience in a related area such as recruitment operations, HRIS, analytics, and/or employee benefits.
  • An ability to understand complex system configurations
  • Strong ability to navigate complex problems & ambiguity and deliver solutions
  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet management & data manipulation (data compilation, basic formulas)
  • Can effectively influence and work cross-functionally in order to drive user-friendly understanding and create impactful change across the business
Our cash compensation amount for this role is between $98,000 - $115,00/year in Denver and between $120,000 - $135,000/year for New York/San Francisco. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas. 

When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
